Jesus has said, “The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.” (Lk 10:2).

Today the fields are ripe for harvest. God has prepared a massive harvest that can compare with the heady missionary days after Pentecost.

God today is sounding a call to all his people to participate in bringing in this harvest. It is a call of the utmost importance and urgency.

And God looks to you to respond

40 Days in the Strength of God (September 2011)

In the year 2011, CFC-FFL is 30 years old. Its theme for the year is "My God is now my strength!" (Isaiah 49:5). It is an imposing theme, with the Lord offering the fulness of His grace and strength for the work beyond the 30 years.

With the world in deep darkness, with anti-life and anti-family forces rampaging, with even the Church buffeted from within, there is a great challenge for followers of Christ to stand and be counted, and to give their all for the cause of the Kingdom.

Once again CFC-FFL is at the crossroad. With 30 years of experience in doing God's work, with all the ups and downs, having been purified and restored, will the army that is CFC-FFL go all out for Jesus? Are the brethren willing to give their all, holding nothing back, even their very lives? Will they as God's servants take hold of the fullness of God's grace and be made glorious in the sight of the Lord?

Be with Jesus over these 40 days and understand more clearly what God's call to CFC-FFL is.

  • Walk through the history of CFC by way of the passage on the Servant of the Lord in Isaiah.
  • Grasp the profound meaning of the strength of God.
  • Have a clear understanding of the vision and mission of CFC-FFL

May we choose the right path, and confidently go forth in the very strength of God.

WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE DO

Through all of our 29 years, we have spoken much of our vision and mission, who we are, what we are called to do. We know that we are an evangelistic and missionary community. This has been true from the very beginning and has never changed. We do our work within the context of family renewal. That is one distinct factor that distinguishes us from other renewal movements.

The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. The Eucharist is the greatest gift God gives to His people. The Eucharist is our path to holiness and Christian perfection. The Eucharist is crucial to our work of the New Evangelization. We must have greater understanding and appreciation of the Eucharist, so that we can go forth and truly be effective witnesses to salvation in Jesus.

Servant leadership is crucial to our work of building up community and of doing a massive work of evangelization. Unfortunately, many who are leaders in our Church today may not have the heart of a servant. But Jesus, our Lord and Master, came not to be served but to serve. He is our main model.
